How do I get started?
Getting started with ONCHAIN® Ramp is refreshingly simple. Just sign up (or sign back in) with your email, choose how much you want to buy, pick your local currency and payment method, and complete a quick identity check (KYC takes about 60 seconds on your first purchase). Then click ‘Pay’—and within seconds, your purchased assets will land in your selected wallet.

What's the ONCHAIN® Wallet?
The ONCHAIN® Wallet is an embedded smart wallet, designed to be easy to use while maintaining full self-custody. It is powered by modern account abstraction standards (ERC-4337), which means it behaves more like a smart account than a traditional wallet. You don’t need to download an app or manage seed phrases—your wallet is created when you sign up with your email or social login.
This setup allows you to access your wallet directly from ONCHAIN® Ramp, while still having the option to connect external wallets like MetaMask or Trust Wallet if you prefer.
What networks/chains are supported?
ONCHAIN® Ramp is built on the ONCHAIN® Payment Network (OPN), which is chain-agnostic and capable of supporting virtually any network. At launch, only a limited number of networks will be available—but new ones will be added regularly.

What currencies and payment methods can I use?
ONCHAIN® Ramp is built to support a wide range of fiat currencies and payment methods. Availability depends on your location and the payment provider.
Note: During this phase of public beta, only credit cards are available. Support for numerous additional payment methods will roll out soon.
How long does it take for assets to land after purchase?
ONCHAIN® Ramp is designed for speed—every step of the process, from signup to purchase to final delivery. Once you complete your payment, assets typically arrive within seconds, and in most cases, under a minute. On occasion, depending on network conditions, it may take up to a couple of minutes.
You’ll see real-time progress updates in the interface, so you’re never left guessing. Compared to other ramps that can take hours—or only deliver a placeholder asset—ONCHAIN® Ramp keeps things fast, clear, and on-chain.
Is KYC required to buy assets?
Yes—most users will need to complete a quick identity check (KYC) before their first purchase. It usually takes less than a minute and only needs to be done once.
KYC helps us comply with global AML/CFT standards while keeping your experience smooth and secure. In some cases, additional verification may be required to unlock higher purchase limits, but for most users, the standard check is all that’s needed.
Do I need to buy gas first to buy the token I actually want?
Nope. ONCHAIN® Ramp lets you buy the token you actually want—directly. There’s no need to first purchase a gas token like ETH or MATIC just to swap later.
This is part of our intent-centric approach: when you start a purchase, you're buying your final asset, not an intermediary one. It saves you time, extra steps, and unnecessary fees—giving you the experience you expected from the start.
What wallets does ONCHAIN® Ramp support?
ONCHAIN® Ramp supports most major wallets—including MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and others—right out of the box. You can connect your existing wallet or use the embedded ONCHAIN® Wallet, which is automatically created when you sign up with an email or social login.
The experience is designed to be seamless whether you’re a first-time buyer or already deep in Web3. No extensions or downloads required—just connect and go.
What happens if my transaction is delayed or fails?
In rare cases, network congestion or payment processing delays may slow things down. If your transaction doesn't complete, our system will notify you and either retry or issue a refund.
